The White Lake Historical Society

The purpose of this Society shall be to bring together those people interested in history and especially in the history of the White Lake Township Area. The Society shall preserve, advance and disseminate knowledge of the history of the White Lake Township Area. It shall be the duty of said Society to collect, arrange and preserve and restore historical material, including buildings, books, pamphlets, maps, charts, manuscripts, papers, copies of domestic and foreign records and archives, paintings, statuary and other objects and material illustrative of the early pioneers, their exploits, perils, privations and achievements. The society shall cooperate with and assist other historical societies with a view to gathering historical matters pertaining to the White Lake area and its early pioneers.

 

August 9 10:00- 2:00 Open House at the farm in conjunction with Home Depot's Kids' Safety Day.  They plan to have the Smokehouse there as well as fingerprinting of children, the D.A.R.E. program, and their Kid's Workshop where kids can make a craft to take home.

 

September  6 & 7 11:00- 5:00 with craft booths opening at 10:00-- Our 23rd annual festival-- fun and entertainment for all ages.  T & C Federal Credit Union will be sponsoring the Children's Games this year.
