HSM's policy for postings on the Calendar of Michigan History Events

The Historical Society of Michigan will add to the on-line Calendar of Michigan History Events (Historical Happenings) any event hosted or sponsored by an historical organization in Michigan. We will also post Michigan history focused events that are sponsored by non-historical organizations in Michigan or out of state historical entities. We will not post non-historical events (art fairs, exhibits, receptions, conferences, etc.) unless they are sponsored/hosted by an historical organization in Michigan. Membership in HSM is not required to have events included on the Calendar of Michigan History Events.
