Arenac County Historical Society, Au Gres

Information:

The Arenac County Historical Society was organized in 1970 in a rural schoolhouse in the Au Gres area.

Hours:

Open May through September during the last Thursday of each month from 1pm-7:30pm and 1pm-4pm on Saturday and Sunday for special events.

Collections:

Collections include Native American artifacts and "A History of Arenac County, Michigan" (200 pages) which includes history on all 12 Townships, Charity Islands and the Native Americans of Arenac County.
