The Ada Historical Society is dedicated to ensure that present and future generations will not only know the significance of traditions of the area, but will learn from the past and recognize the need to preserve the historical heritage which has been bestowed upon them.

Ada Historical Society also endeavors to take permanent care of significant objects for the public good.

June 2 thru August 25, 2009: Music on the Lawn. Join us every Tuesday night for a different musical performance. The music begins at 7:00pm.

June 30, 2009: Music on the Lawn, 7:00pm at the Museum. Bascom McGhee will play folk and bluegrass music.

July 2009: Garden & Herbs. In July, we will host an event highlighting gardening and herbs. Look for the date and details on our website or call the Museum at 676-9346.

July 4, 2009: Fourth of July. We will participate with a float in the Ada parade, a tent at the festival on the Green, and the Museum will be open for tours.

July 7, 2009:Music on the Lawn featuring Chris Vallillo, folk singer.

July 11, 2009: Monthly meeting scheduled for 10:30am at the Museum.

July 14, 2009:Music on the Lawn featuring Lonesome Jane, country/folk rock/swing music.

July 21, 2009:Music on the Lawn featuring Adams Family, folk and minstrel music.

July 28, 2009:Music on the Lawn featuring Tiki O'Riley, Celtic music.

July 29-30, 2009: Pioneer Days at the Museum. We will partner with the Ada Parks Dept. when summer campers visit the Museum and barn to explore Ada's history.
